Qpage Deluxe FAQ
All Qpage Deluxe pages have a URL in the following format: http://www.qpage.com/host/filename.shtml, where "filename" is the name of your choice.
Yes, you can order as many Qpage Deluxe pages as you like. You can have separate pages for different purposes, or several pages linked together to form a multi-page web site. (Qpage Deluxe's Link Editor feature can be used to create links between your own pages, or to other sites on the web.)
Additional pages cost the same as the initial page. If you order additional pages after your first page - for example, a month later - and you'd like for all of your pages to expire at the same time, we can prorate the cost of the additional page(s).
A page you've created with the free version of Qpage can be used as your "starter" page for Qpage Deluxe. After creating your free Qpage, be sure to record your page number. Then, when you order Qpage Deluxe, you can let us know in the comments box on the order form that you'd like to use page number "QP____" as your starting page. We will post that page on the web for you and you will be able to make changes to it using Qpage Deluxe.
We currently don't provide page registration services, but can recommend an efficient way to register your page on the most popular search engines. There is a free service called Submit It! (http://www.submit-it.com/) that enables you to register your page on up to 15 web directories and search engines through filling out just one online form.
Qpage Deluxe does not limit the amount of text permitted on a page. However, your browser may limit the number of characters that can be transmitted through an internet form. In testing, we have successfully created pages with over 25,000* characters of text. The amount allowed by your browser may be more or less than this number. The longest page created by a Qpage Deluxe customer (at the time of this writing) is about 15,000 characters, and it's long!!! If you're planning to make a very long page, and you'd like to get an idea of how much text your particular browser will transmit, you can experiment by using the free version of Qpage.
*25,000 characters is roughly equivalent to 250-300 full lines of 12-point text printed on an 8.5" x 11" piece of paper with 1" margins.
Although you can't do it yourself, logos and other graphics can be added to a Qpage Deluxe page. Detailed information about adding graphics is at Qpage Deluxe Customization.
Yes. Although Qpage Deluxe comes with step-by-step instructions and is very easy to use, we will provide any help you may need in using it. For help, you can send email to help@qpage.com.
No. Qpage Deluxe pages can only be created and revised if they are located on the qpage.com server. It's not possible for Qpage Deluxe to post your page on a different server.
That can't be done with Qpage Deluxe. All Qpage Deluxe pages are in the same directory on the qpage.com server, with the URL (internet address) http://www.qpage.com/host/filename.shtml, where you choose your "filename".
